The Chalet Marsala is a perennial favourite of many young group bookings, both due to its considerable size at 40 rooms and relatively good location 5 minutes’ off the main bars, shops and restaurants in Val d'Isère 1850, and 10 minutes’ walk to the lifts.

The busy nature of the chalet at mealtimes and during some evenings means this is an accommodation which is mainly suited to social customers, and those not averse to sharing a sofa or rotating on the pool table.

Mealtimes bring hearty fare during the evenings, with a buffet-style breakfast with cereal, yoghurt and fruit being served alongside three hot items.

The rooms in the Marsala are all en-suite but they are pretty basic across the board. It is a consideration to be weighed against the price, location and amount of fun to be had in during your ski break here.
