Chalet Epena is currently undergoing a full refurbishment for the 19/20 winter season. From new bathrooms, kitchen, boot room, flooring and sofas, no stone will be left unturned during this renovation. Excellent for groups, this is a very sociable chalet, with dinners around central dining table, after dinner drinks on the enormous terrace, then heading out to see what Meribel has to offer.

Ideal for guests who love to get the most out of their time, Chalet Epena's brilliant location means you don't have to miss out on a single moment. Head into town to check out the latest kit from North Face, have a quick hot chocolate at Barometer and stock up on sweets and saucisson at the weekly market, all in time for dinner. Modern and comfortable, Chalet Epena is a great base to come back to refuel, before you're off and out again to see where the day or night takes you.

The classic Experience (5 nights catering)
Breakfast is a classic continental which includes, freshly prepared eggs, croissants, Pains au chocolat and baguettes fresh daily from the local bakery as well as yoghurts, cereals, warming porridge and hot drinks.

Afternoon tea is a classic and welcome part of the ski chalet experience, what nicer thing is there than to open the door to your chalet and smell freshly baked goodies awaiting you? Your host will lay out a daily changing range of delicious cakes, tray bakes or cookies to welcome you back from your day out, complemented by a choice of hot drinks. If you love chocolate cake and want it every day, no problem! Just ask your host and they will be happy to oblige, so you can enjoy your favourite treat.

The aromas coming from the kitchen each evening will be certain to stir your senses, relax with a vin chaud while your host prepares a three-course meal followed by coffee and accompanied by our specially selected French wines.

The carefully selected dishes will warm your soul and satisfy your appetites, they include some local mountain favourites with rich roasted meats and hearty stews, as well as delicious fresh fish all served with perfectly matched accompaniments and seasonal vegetables. Sublime desserts thrill those with the sweetest tooth.

Perhaps the best part of a catered chalet? Not having to lift a finger all week, as the hosts clear away the dishes and do the washing up you are free to play games, watch the stars, chat by a roaring fire, enjoy a movie or hit the town.
