Darkoum is a four storey, freestanding chalet containing just three wonderful apartments (Darkoum Kalo, Lama and Makan). We’ve become attached to our adopted exclusive suburb of 1850 and these three properties are in the same killer location, just across the road from the gentle Bellecote piste into the resort centre, making it virtually ski-in ski-out and perfect for families.
Darkoum Lama accommodates 6-7 guests in four bedrooms and is entirely independent with a spacious, open plan living area with balcony and log fire and a dedicated chalet host. 
This bright and airy apartment is comfortably furnished and arranged over a single floor, with a spacious open plan living and dining area complete with log fireplace and dramatic panoramic alpine views through wrap around windows. The chalet boasts flat screen TV, DVD player, Apple TV and a Bluetooth soundbar. There is also an extravagant balcony with stunning alpine views. 
Lama boasts one double en suite bedroom as well as a double room and twin/double bedroom that share a family bathroom. There is also a small single bedroom. Each of the bedrooms has a TV with UK Freeview.
We recommend Darkoum Lama for six people but it can accommodate seven. Ideal for an extended family holiday with kids and grandparents, for larger groups the Darkoum apartments can be booked together to accommodate up to 23 guests.
LOCATION
Darkoum Lama is beautifully positioned in a peaceful and extremely exclusive neighbourhood of Courchevel 1850, enjoying spectacular views of the Bozel valley and less than 100 metres from the Bellecote piste (Green) which winds gently into Courchevel centre and the main Croisette lifts. For those that choose not to make use of our driver service, it is a 15 minute walk to the village centre.

This chalet has been designated as a ‘Development chalet’.

We are delighted to announce that this year in a selection of our chalets designated as `Development Chalets’ we will be working with Ed Perry & Dale Penfold the founders of COOK to provide catering for our guests. They have used the founding principal of using only natural ingredients along with concentrating on provenance, waste and animal welfare.

From their Kent kitchen they produce nutritious food by hand and by using an innovative blast freezing technique have been able to deliver all over the country. Along with their Development chef Sarah Jane we have designed a sensational menu for this season.

We are also going to be offering a few enhancements to our normal service in these selected chalets. These will include homemade chocolates and smoothies at breakfast. Netflix on tap and improved minibars renamed Tuck Shops with specialist beers and cider and Green and Black chocs (all at a sensible price) and a few other small but significant embellishments.
