Chalet Romeo, La Rosiere
Overview
Chalet Romeo is a stylish and modern chalet apartment set over two floors within the Grandes Alpes building right in the heart of La Rosiere.
It continues to be extremely popular with families and for good reason as it’s position is really perfect, only 110m from the nearest ski lifts and in a prime location to access the Childcare in our neighbouring chalets, none of which are more than 3 minutes’ walk away.
The Romeo’s interior is comfortable and attractive with an open plan living room with fireplace and a bright and stylish dining area. There is also a sauna on the lower floor.
It shares its entrance and a ski and boot room with our neighbouring Chalet Cleopatra.
Our FREE Baby-Listening/ Child Patrol Service will operate every evening for children on the lower floor.
Meals:
Breakfast – is served buffet-style with a selection of cold options including a choice of cereals or porridge, cold meats, cheese and preserves, bread (and croissants in France), fruit juices, tea and coffee and a cooked breakfast of bacon, sausage, eggs and beans. On the staff day off, a continental style breakfast is laid out for you to help yourselves in all chalets.
Afternoon Tea – Every day, apart from our staff day off, a home-baked cake and tea and coffee making facilities are laid out for you to help yourself when you return from the slopes.
High Tea for all children under 11 is at 5.30pm. It is served as a 2 course healthy menu, tailored more towards children’s tastes and puréed food is available for infants. Parents are asked to accompany their children under 3, whilst 3-10 years old are supervised by our childcare team.
Evening Meals – Adult dinner is at 7.30pm comprises 3 courses including an appetiser, main dish and dessert. The meal is accompanied by a prosecco apéritif and a choice of red, rose and white wines, culminating with tea or coffee. A 3 course regional speciality menu is served as one of the 6 evening meals in chalets. This varies by country and the French menu includes charcuterie, goat’s cheese salad, tartiflette and tarte tatin, accompanied by the prosecco apéritif and choice of wines.
On Staff Night Off, you and your family have the opportunity to eat out in one of the local restaurants. Ask our staff for any recommendations.
Family Dining – Many parents prefer to enjoy adult-only company over dinner but if it’s important to you to eat dinner altogether as a family, we offer Family Dining when you book the entire chalet for exclusive use. Dinner is then served from 6.30pm with the menu based on our adult dishes with some flexibility for the children’s preferences. There is a supplement of £39 per child for Family Dining.
