Chalet Arpette 1 is stylishly furnished, with comfy sofas and a glass-fronted fireplace in the open plan lounge and diner. Large French windows lead onto a balcony.

Chalet Arpette 1 and 2 share the same entrance, but are on different levels in the same building. The Arpette chalets share a sauna, and a ski deposit which has the benefit of heated boot warmers.

The chalet Arpette host lives out.

Rooms 2 and 3 can take a cot. If booking the whole of Chalet Arpette 1, an additional child's bed can be put in room 2

Chalet Arpette is located in an ideal position just 80m from the nearest piste and chairlift in la Plagne 1800. It is also conveniently located just 150m from Plagne 1800 village amenities. Plagne 1800 has a small selection of bars and restaurants and for those who are looking for a slightly more lively aprés ski experience the resort runs a free bus service up until midnight to Plagne Centre. There are some popular nightlife spots including the popular “Scotty’s” bar which has live music on selected nights of the week and The Mouth which is a late night bar in Centre.

Meals

A lovely start to the week, on arrival in your chalet, handmade pre-dinner canapes and aperitifs will be served to you in the lounge whilst your chalet host welcomes you to your chalet and introduces you to the resort.

Start your day with a delicious cooked breakfast that includes bacon, eggs, Heinz beans or hash browns and mushrooms or tomatoes plus a selection of cereals, porridge, yogurts and fresh bread. Served 8am to 9am 6 days a week.

Scrumptious homemade cakes and a choice of teas are provided every day, best enjoyed while you relax in the lounge area in front of the log fire.

You'll be served a delicious starter each evening, followed by your main course expect hearty homely dishes that are individually plated to fill you up after a tough day on the slopes. Everyones favourite course pudding, hopefully you'll still have some room for the delicious desserts your chalet host will have prepared for you 6 days a week.

Chalet host night off is Wedenesday. Your host can recommend and book a local restaurant for you.

Unlimited wine, tea & coffee
To complement your meal we serve free and unlimited good quality red and white wines during the course of dinner. After dinner, fresh ground coffee or decaffeinated coffee as well as tea is served in the lounge.

Dietary Requirements
We strive to ensure that your specific dietary requirements and preferences are catered for as best we can. Please let us know at least 14 days prior to your holiday start date, to ensure that this is possible. Our team can cater for special dietary requirements be they for medical reasons, religious reasons or simply personal preference. Our chalet hosts will be advised of these requirements in advance of your stay and every effort will be made to ensure that they are met. However, we cannot guarantee that certain ingredients will not be in the environment nor can we guarantee that cross-contamination will not occur.

Children's Food
Children aged 11 and under will be served High Tea at around 6pm. This is provided at no extra cost and ensures that your child's normal routine is not disturbed: soft drinks or milk are served with the meal. It also ensures that adults can enjoy their evening meal, which is served at 8pm. If you have booked a whole chalet then you can eat together – please speak to your chalet hosts on arrival.

The Festive Season
An Alpine chalet is a wonderful place to spend the festive season. We provide Christmas trees and decorations. On the day itself, you can look forward to aperitifs, turkey with all the trimmings, flaming Christmas pudding, mince pies, and of course, Christmas crackers. For New Year most of our resorts will have torch-lit descents, fireworks and other celebrations. Alternatively, you could just enjoy New Year's Eve dinner in your chalet with a glass or two of fizz.
